FAST FORWARD - That was the general idea in the beginning. But I have become more and more involved in Internet Marketing. This site with the static front page was becoming more of a hindrance than a help. I wanted to share all the stuff I was finding everyday and it just wasn’t practical the way this site was setup. I had slowly picked up traffic and Google had granted me a PageRank of 2. Now while that is pitiful it is a lot better then zero, and for somebody just starting, it was great. That was the dilemma. With my PR 2, the traffic growing, surely my PR will increase which will mean more traffic. As much as I wanted to change the site, I didn’t want to screw up my chance at a higher PR.

Then Freedom Rang. My traffic is 10 times what it was and Google dropped my PR to 1. Now all bets are off. I’m doing what I should have done months ago. Redoing the site to suit my interest and not what Google may or may not think about it.

I’ll watch my traffic, because that’s something I can measure. If I feel like I need to change the site again next month, so be it. I know the decrease in PR just means other sites have done better on their SEO, which I understand because I’ve done zero on SEO. But as for as watching Googles PR, well I’m not going to Pound Rocks. Thanks Google for the Liberation.
